Checkmate is sired by the $20,000 Flaspohler boar. He is a line bred Direct Approach for consistency and growth. He weighed #250 at 150 days of age in a group of boars on a self feeder. He is one tough made aggressive Hamp with an attitude. His hip and hind leg are designed right. His pasterns are super strong, study his 3/4 rump picture. He has a monster big rib with lots of center body and is square coming and going. He has a big wide blade and carries that extra thickness all the way back, Checkmate is tall fronted all the way back and packed full of muscle. We think this boar is special.
